Why Silk?
When a silkworm spins its cocoon, it creates a natural fiber composite—essentially a form of biological 3D printing. The result is a material with exceptional strength-to-weight performance, derived entirely from a renewable agricultural source.
Why replace plastic?
Single-use plastics and foam-based materials create lasting environmental damage, often ending up in landfills, waterways, or natural ecosystems.
